First and second week: During this time by going on a moderate speed simply means that you don’t have to put in a lot of effort and hard work. Try to walk a mile in 20 minutes. Keep your interest and attention intact: Don’t stick to the same route for your walk if you fear monotony and consequent boredom and keep changing it. Try to select those routes where there is an obvious difference amongst them. For instance if you choose a park for your walk then you can always move on to another ladies park too. If you want to walk at night then allot a specific place for it or you can walk on the terrace with a fast speed.

 

Eat well and properly: To transform your body you need nutritious diet and exercise. Food cooked for very long and spicy foods should be gradually omitted from the diet and replaced e.g. white rice with brown rice, and adding more vegetables to the diet. Eat grain and lots of pulses. If you feel like it then the amount of food can be reduced but having proper breakfast is mandatory so that your digestion remains intact to keep your metabolism rate high. Drink lots of water. Try to consume as much of this unlimited blessing of nature as you can. Keep a strict eye on fat and sugar intake.

 

Keep a continuity in your walk: You should take 10,000 steps daily out of which 4,000-6,000 should consecutive. This calculation can be checked using a barometer that how many steps did you take and how many calories did you burn. The right technique to walking is that you walk as if on a straight line. Keep your steps right in front of the other step, this will not only save time but also keep you fit.
